Motive: to love others

Everything we do should have the same purpose behind it: to love others. Why am I doing this thing I'm doing? If the end goal is not to love people better than the reasoning is not sound. Perhaps there are some things we're thinking and doing that we need to reevaluate?

When we really love others -- when the love of God is there, real Love -- it heals, rebalances, awakens. Life is made new. If our motive is right today, our feelings and actions will be right too. This is freedom; this is Christianity: there is no greater love than laying down your life for your friends (John 15:13). Sounds like a touchstone for me!
