Belonging to God

Today it struck me that the word "belonging" is made up of "be" and "longing." Belonging to God is responding to our LONGING for Love by saying -- First, I will BE the expression of Love.

"...the LONGING to BE better and holier, expressed in daily watchfulness and in striving to assimilate more of the divine character, will mould and fashion us anew, until we awake in His likeness."
